Hi, I am Katarina Rau.


My love for photography happened by accident. After far too many disappointing photoshoots, I realized finding someone who knew how to set up for the perfect shot or the ability to transform an ordinary shot into a work of art, were few and far between.

Friends and Family tried photographer after photographer with varying results. I started tagging along on their photoshoots taking my own shots between their sessions. Thistle Dew Photography was the ultimate result.
